Newborn photos are not just pictures, they are a time machine back to this fleeting and unique period in your parenting journey.  ​ While officially, your baby is a newborn for 28 days, the reality is that with each and every passing day, they grow and change in magical ways.  The newborn scrunch, those tiny fingers that grip yours, their adorable little yawns, will soon disappear, making way for new and exciting milestones.  Newborn photos allow you to freeze time and preserve these fleeting memories forever.  ​ From the moment you book, newborn sessions with me are relaxed and enjoyable.  Conveniently located in Victoria point, my expansive light-filled studio is fully equipped with everything you need for an outing with a newborn baby.  Expect:  - A climate controlled studio, which we can warm up or cool down to suit your postpartum body - Hot barista made coffee on arrival + baby chinos for the kids - Complimentary use of our size and gender inclusive client closet, featuring over 300 high-end items of clothing for the whole family - Nursing pads and burp cloths scattered around the studio  - Comfy feeding chairs and breastfeeding pillows  - Full length mirror + GHD to allow you to get ready upon arrival High quality kids toys including Pikler triangle, Connetix tiles, Nintendo 360 + more - Large TV with all streaming services  - My assistant + an assortment of farm animals to keep your little people entertained  Your family's comfort is my first priority, which is why I allow generous session times, to ensure that we can ebb and flow with your family's needs, taking time to feed, soothe and truly enjoy your little one.  My photography style is more lifestyle than posed, which means that I will never ask you to stare at the camera or smile on demand.  I find that we capture the best images when you forget that I am there and simply love on your babe. I will gently guide you through poses, offering feedback and suggestions throughout, as you enjoy your beautiful family and capture precious memories to cherish for life.  While newborn photos are best suited to babies between 1-3 weeks old, as a doula I know first hand how delicate this time can be.   This is why it is best to reserve your "due window" during pregnancy. Once you little one is safely earth side, you can contact me to let me know and we will stay in contact to lock in a date when you are feeling ready.  For families who would prefer to capture these precious memories in the comfort of their own home, I also offer in-home newborn session.
